Why Choose Us
In April 2023, two Amazonian manatees rehabilitated by RAREC (Rainforest Awareness Rescue & Education Center) were released into the protected waters by the lodge — which serves as their post-release research base. We have also released a giant anteater, two toe sloth and an armadilo.

Together with the local village, we reintroduce the Taricaya turtles into our area. After being placed in a sandbox, the eggs hatch and are raised for 3 weeks before being released back into the wild near our lodge.

With Nova Southeastern University’s Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine, the lodge has brought free exams, treatment and medicine to hundreds of people in nearby villages.

Alongside the Nevada Building Hope Foundation, the lodge helped build the area’s first high school and provides uniforms, shoes and supplies to local students.
Stay long enough to let the jungle slow you down. The longer you stay the more wildlife you will see.
Currently our prices are 20% off for adults, double occupancy, kids are 40% off, singles pay $200 more.
The lodge staff made both the celebration of our Anniversary and my birthday so very special!! The staff at the lodge were all wonderful and friendly… We saw all 7 species of monkeys that live in the area. We saw multiple sloths. Too many bird species to count. A family of 9 capybara. And so many other animals. Just amazing!!
I can’t say enough good things about this tour and the people who run it. My experience was so much more than I hoped for. My guide was extremely knowledgeable and helped me see tons of wildlife… The chef is incredible, the lodge itself is absolutely beautiful, and the people who work there are so kind, welcoming, and eager to tend to your every need or desire. I highly, highly recommend!
We had a wonderful experience with Grand Amazon Lodge & Tours. They made us feel at home in the jungle. Our guide went out of his way to make sure we got the most out of our experience, we spent so much time on the Amazon river and saw so much wild life, it’s truly fantastic. Our tour was also individualized, so it did not feel like we were actually doing a tour. I recommend this place to everyone!!!
