This course is designed for the high beginner to the advanced level Spanish student. You will have classes on grammar with Jude at the Lodge. Following your lesson, you will have the opportunity to practice your skills in Spanish while taking jungle walks, boat excursions, piranha fishing, or visiting a local community. Each evening after dinner we will have a lecture from staff biologist, Alfredo Dosantos on many topics. You will have time to ask questions or to discuss and share with fellow students your daily experiences. After our evening lecture, you can take nocturnal boat ride and see the Southern Cross or be bewildered by the beauty of the Milky Way.  If you feel adventurous you will be offered a nocturnal jungle walk. Other activities include jungle cooking classes, craft-making with the local women, early morning bird watching, and playing soccer with the local children.
